To the best of my limited knowledge I dont believe so. However he has been to the observatory, shortly after its cconstruction.

Indeed - the talk we has last year on the construction of Cyril "back in the day" included photographs of Patrick - possibly formally opening the dome, but I cannot quite remember. I think he was there twice now I think about it ....
