Another astronomy holiday I recently received ....

Cadogan Holidays, based in Southampton and established for nearly 60 years, are putting on a 5 day exclusive Astronomy themed trip to Morocco (20th to 24th November 2008) staying at Richard Branson’s High Atlas Mountain retreat and hosted by Doctor Francisco Diego of the Royal Astronomical Society.

Prices for this trip start from £1695 per person (based on 2 adults sharing a double room) including flights, accommodation, daily breakfast and dinner, private transfers, gala dinner, full astrology lecture programme and evening viewings and all astronomy equipment & materials provided.

The select group will occupy the luxurious Kasbah Tamadot, 60 miles south of Marrakech in the High Atlas Mountains. By day there is a programme of talks and discussions covering the evolution of the universe from early astrological beliefs to modern astrophysics and cosmology. By night, Dr Diego leads the group through stargazing from the privileged location of the Kasbah Tamadot, which enjoys very low light pollution.
